Become a Certified Nursing Assistant
A certified nursing assistant, or CNA, works under the supervision of nurses to deliver high-quality care to patients. The skills you learn as a certified nursing assistant can prepare you for a long-term career in the nursing field.
Program Details
This 100 hour program offers you an opportunity to become a Texas State Approved Nurse Aide. You will attend through classroom lecture, lab and clinical instruction.
Schedule
- The total duration is 6 weeks
- Monday-Thursday 9am-12pm
Registration Requirements
- Valid Photo ID
- Social Security Card
- High School Diploma or GED recommended
- Criminal Background Check
- TB Test (can get this from our school)
- CPR (can get this from our school)
- Ability to understand basic math concepts
- Ability to lift 50 pounds without restriction

Payment Information
- A non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration, and the remaining balance is paid through a biweekly payment plan.
- The final payment must be paid in full by the last week of clinicals.
Completion & Testing Information
Upon completing the course and passing all required assessments, you will be eligible to sit for the state CNA certification exam.
